The Dyslexia Project of Jackson Hole
Changing reading outcomes. Changing lives.
Changing reading outcomes. Changing lives.
"The time is now for those of us in Western states to learn and act on the findings of language and reading research. Understandings and practices grounded in science can prevent and ameliorate the academic, social, and emotional impacts of dyslexia and help all children become proficient readers and writers.
I am happy to see that families, teachers, and students in Jackson Hole now have an informed resource to support them in accessing and acting on this information." ~ Dr. Louisa Moats, nationally recognized literacy expert
Some local families face financial barriers that make specialized support for a child with characteristics of dyslexia difficult to access. The Dyslexia Project of Jackson Hole works alongside families and schools to help ensure every child has the opportunity to become a confident reader and speller while building community awareness of dyslexia through education, outreach, and expert speakers.
Why this matters:
Dyslexia does NOT have to negatively impact a child's future. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn to read and thrive.
To ensure every child has access to the skills needed to read, learn, and thrive.
The Dyslexia Project of Jackson Hole expands access to early dyslexia screening, intensive evidence-based reading and spelling intervention, and promotes greater community awareness and understanding of dyslexia.
