The Dyslexia Project of Jackson Hole provides free, one-on-one structured literacy instruction for students in grades 1–8 in our community who demonstrate reading and spelling difficulties characteristic of dyslexia and whose low to moderate-income families face financial barriers to accessing this support.
Instruction is delivered individually by a certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist and Wyoming-certified teacher using evidence-based, Orton-Gillingham–aligned methods designed to strengthen foundational literacy skills.
Before instruction begins, each student completes a dyslexia screener to determine whether this type of intervention is an appropriate fit.
Services are designed to supplement school-based instruction and expand access to high-quality literacy intervention for families who may not otherwise be able to afford this support.
Students do not need to be diagnosed with dyslexia in order to receive services.

As funding allows, we hope to expand services to include community education, professional development, and additional supports that respond to local needs.
